Head Coach-Andrew Williams
Coach Williams graduated from Carmel High School (00') in Mundelein, IL. He was a 3-year varsity player and went on to play college basketball at Ripon College in Ripon, WI. There they won the 2002 conference championship and went on to play in NCAA tournament. He was team captain his senior year. Coach Williams graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors of English and minored in Education and Leadership Studies. He was an assistant JV coach in the 2017-2018 season and is now in his fourth year as Freshmen Head Coach. |
Assistant Coach-Sean McGever
Coach McGever attended Arcadia high school and received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Arizona State University before working for a technology company in Washington State. He went on to receive a Master of Divinity from Phoenix Seminary, a Master of Letters from the University of Saint Andrews (Scotland), and a PhD in theology from the University of Aberdeen (Scotland). Since 2002, he has directed Young Life in our community and in 2010 began teaching at Grand Canyon University in the Honors and Theology Colleges. He coached boys basketball at Pinnacle from 2002-2011 at the freshman and JV levels. He and his wife Erin have three children, one a recent graduate of Pinnacle, and two daughters currently at Pinnacle. Coach McGever writes books, golfs, tries to find ways to take trips back to Scotland (especially to play golf), and recently began distance running. |
